Kenosha has two historic lighthouses, the Pierhead Lighthouse built in 1906 and the Southport Light Station, built in 1866.
The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra [58 of 61]
Since 1959, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO) has presented the best in classical music to audiences of all ages and economic status throughout the state of Wisconsin. Today, under Music Director Andreas Delfs, the MSO has become ranked among America's major orchestras and is the largest arts organization in the state. At home and on tour, the MSO plays more than 150 Classics, Pops, Family, and School concerts annually to more than 300,000 people. Its Arts in Community Education (ACE) partnership program currently serves 42,700 students in 25 Milwaukee-area schools and is a national model for orchestras and educators. Each season, the MSO can be heard on syndicated radio broadcasts in 200 markets. Orchestra tours, in the United States and abroad, have received worldwide critical acclaim.
