MLB.com: Milwaukee's tailgating unrivaled in the Majors
The online news section of Major League Baseball (MLB.com) ran a story on June 22, 2006 describing the before and during game event of tailgating at Milwaukee’s Miller Park. It is well known that tailgating is a tradition before sporting events across the United States but according to MLB.com there's something different, something unique about tailgating in Milwaukee.
The story provides a glimpse of the festivities before a Milwaukee Brewers game but also talks about how people come to Miller Park never intending to go to the game but who just want to be part of the tailgating tradition. As one woman from Racine stated, "It's just something Wisconsinites do."
